Reopening

REOPENING INFORMATION

The Y wants to provide you with an idea of what you can expect when you return:

  • If you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone with COVID-19, please stay home! Help us keep our Y communities safe and healthy.
  • Anyone entering our Y facilities is required to wear a mask, with the exception of children under 10 and adults with medical conditions. If you are participating in a high-intensity exercise, you may remove your mask during the activity. Any low-intensity activities like walking, stretching, etc. will still require the use of a mask. At any time you are not exercising, your mask must be worn.
  • Any patrons INSIDE of the pool do not have to wear a mask, due to safety reasons. Any patrons OUTSIDE of the pool, on the pool deck, are required to wear masks, with the exception of children under 10 and adults with medical conditions.
  • We are recommending that if you are part of a vulnerable population, please wait to enjoy the Y. We encourage you to check out our virtual options in order to stay active, via Facebook Live, our website or the EGYM app.
  • We will be conducting wellness and temperature checks of all staff and summer campers upon entering the facility.
  • Members will check in via contactless check-in at the front desk.
  • Rigorous cleaning protocols will continue based upon CDC recommendations throughout the facility and staffing levels to support these measures will be increased. We will continue to ask for our members to use cleaning materials provided to wipe down equipment before and after your workout.
  • Capacities will initially be reduced throughout the facility to safely limit the number of people in a space to ensure appropriate social distancing.
  • For your convenience, social distancing guidelines will be implemented on the wellness floor and throughout the facility. Members and staff will be required to follow these guidelines.
  • Please plan to bring your own mat, water bottle and towel. Mats and additional exercise equipment are available for check-out as well.
  • Locker rooms and Kids’ Gym will not be open immediately, but will be phased in with social distancing guidelines and capacities shortly after opening.
  • To ensure the utmost safety of our members, we will limit our facility usage to members only until we are fully open.
