PRESCHOOL
Thanks to an exciting partnership with the Nevada Department of Education and United Way of Southern Nevada, our Bill & Lillie Heinrich Y and Durango Hills Y offer the Nevada Ready! Pre-K program, a full-day preschool offered at NO COST to families who qualify. This is a different program than what’s offered at our other two locations.
Centennial Hills Y, Durango Hills Y and SkyView Y Preschool Locations
Y Preschool prepares children ages 3-5 for future success through theme-based weekly activities that encourage hands-on learning and exploration. Our friendly, safe environment promotes positive social interaction and lots of fun!
Our caring teachers support an educational process of learning through creative play while incorporating the Y’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility into every lesson. It’s what makes our preschool extra special!
The Y uses the HighScope Method, a research-validated curriculum and, and follows state standards for Kindergarten readiness. Your little learner is sure to make new friends and create memories while developing skills that will last a lifetime.

Class Options
Several class options for preschool are available, including mornings and afternoons. Please note, class options vary by location.

Enrollment fee of $250 is also due at time of registration. Enrollment Fee is a Non-Refundable fee.
*Morning and afternoon wrap-around care is available for full-day students.

How to Register
(Centennial Hills Y, Durango Hills Y and SkyView Y Only)
Register your child for preschool online.
To register in person*, please read, print, complete and submit (as appropriate) these important documents:
- Read the Y Preschool Parent Guide for information about the program, pricing, etc.
- Provide a copy of birth certificate.
- Provide a copy of your child’s current immunization record.
- Provide Health Statement signed by physician
Preschool child files are electronic files through Campdoc. You will receive an email invitation from Campdoc within 24 hours of registration. In order to complete your child’s registration the following documents must be uploaded to your child’s file on Campdoc. Children with an incomplete file will not be permitted into school.
Heinrich Y & Durango Hills Y Locations

How to Register
Please pick up an enrollment packet at our Bill & Lillie Heinrich Y or Durango Hills Y. Registration for our Heinrich & Durango program cannot be done online; you must submit your enrollment packet in person.*
