Family Night | Offered the 3rd Friday of Each Month

All Locations

Family Night at the Y provides family engagement by providing a time and place to come together for a good time through family-friendly activities such as games, crafts, movies and seasonal festivities. Offered on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 5 PM – 7 PM. See the family calendar located at your local Y’s front desk for details. Family Night is FREE and open to all, including non-members, but please register beforehand (in-person, online, or through our app).

Parents’ Night Out | Offered on the 2nd & 4th Friday of Each Month

All Locations

Take time to unwind and rejuvenate after a tough week with a date night that helps parents reconnect while the kiddo’s have fun too! For $10 per
child, Y Family Members ages 3-12 (potty-trained) will enjoy themed games, crafts, science experiments, movies, swimming and more. Offered on the
2nd and 4th Friday of each month. 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM. See the family calendar located at your local Y’s front desk for details.

Take A Hike! – Explore the Outdoors | 4th Saturday of Each Month

All Locations

Good things happen when we unplug and reconnect outside. Kids and adults benefit from contact with nature. Get outdoors and explore the beautiful
parks and public lands through our Take A Hike! Program, which provides FREE, guided, family-friendly hikes every month. Pack your sunscreen and
water; we’ll take care of the rest. Offered on the 4th Saturday of each month. See the family calendar located at your local Y’s front desk for details.

Togetherhood – Amplify Your Family Engagement Impact, Volunteer Together | Dates Vary

Volunteering as a family builds character and helps teach your kids the importance of thinking larger than themselves. Togetherhood is the Y’s member-led volunteer service program. It activates Y members to work together to plan and lead service projects that respond to local community needs. Youth & Family Wellness | Dates Vary

Every family can be a healthy family! By focusing on healthy eating, physical activity, and quality time your family will soon be feeling stronger and living healthier. Check in-person, online, or on our app for a schedule of FREE Y Kids Fitness classes and family-friendly group exercise classes promoting your family’s engagement with health.

 

Kids Gym (3 Months to 7 Years) | Family Engagement During Prime Times

Parents rave about the YMCA Kids Gym! Don’t believe us? Ask around! Kids Gym Supervisors ensure your little one is well taken care of for up to 1 hour while you work on your wellness goals.

Due to a public health mandate, reservations are now required. Please see below to make a reservation at your local Y branch. Staff will verify that all participants are symptom free through a visual wellness check and temperature check within normal range. State and local health guidelines, including social distancing and extensive sanitation procedures, will be followed to ensure the safety of all participants. Have family engagement with your family by using our gym together.

Babysitting Training Course

Offered at the SkyView YMCA. The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. This training is designed for youth ages 11 to 15. Participants will become certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid upon passing of a written and practical exam.
