The Y is excited to offer an amazing deal on our Parent/Child Swim Lessons! For just $25 per month, parents and their littles ones are invited to come enjoy this positive bonding experience in the water. This class is geared towards introducing ages 6 months to 3 years to the aquatic environment – focusing on water safety, positive interaction and more…while also having tons of fun! Year-round classes are offered at both our Centennial Hills Y and SkyView Y. The Heinrich Y and Durango Hills Y will offer Parent/Child Swim Lessons seasonally once the pools open. Please register your child for the class you feel is most suitable based on the description below.
On the first day, our instructors will assess your child’s swim level during the lesson and recommend a switch if needed. This typically won’t disrupt your schedule – your child will likely just join a class on the other side of the pool!

If you’re an ambulatory individual with arthritis, get a zero-impact workout while focusing on sustaining and/or improving muscle and joint mobility while improving overall fitness. This class eases aches, pains and gets you moving.
Experience a low-impact workout focused on cardiovascular conditioning, strength training and flexibility. It gets your heart pumping and burns calories. Class is held in deep and shallow water and uses a variety of equipment.
*Water shoes recommended.
This power/strength class offers higher impact circuit training using Speedo equipment. Your endurance/flexibility in deep/shallow water measures your heart rate. The combo class merges power and endurance.

Make a splash! Bring the party to the pool! This program gives new meaning to an “invigorating workout!” Splashing, stretching, twisting, shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering…that’s what you’ll hear in Aqua Zumba. Integrating Zumba blends it all together in a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning and exhilarating beyond belief.
Join our adult swimmers for workouts, practice, and fun. Must be 18 years and older. Great for triathletes, Masters competitors, and lap swimmers looking to improve their workout. Prior swimming experience recommended. Practices on Tuesday/Thursday from 7 pm – 8pm. Participants may come to as many practices as they wish.

Step 1: Come to a pre-test! No need to sign-up in advance, but be sure to be here 30 minutes early if it’s your first time at the Y. Bring a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years. Please check the front desk for current pre-test schedule.
