At the Y, no one is turned away because
of an inability to pay.
That's our promise to the community, and our Y Annual Campaign makes it possible.
MAKE A SECURE ONLINE DONATION
Your Dollars Create Big Change
While a variety of fundraisers help us subsidize costs, the Y Annual Campaign has the greatest impact on the largest number of individuals. Last year, we gave over 65,000 people direct financial assistance. Thanks to generous donors who support the Y Annual Campaign, we’re able to provide cutting-edge recreational, educational and fitness opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access. We award financial assistance based on annual income and household size. Read our Community Impact Report to learn more.
$1,000 ($83/month) can help a family afford Y preschool, preparing their child for kindergarten and sparking a love of learning.
$600 ($50/month) can help a child gain skills and confidence at the Y's week-long resident summer camp in sunny California.
$350 ($29/month) will give an active older adult the opportunity to stay happier and healthier together with a year-long Y membership.
$100 ($8/month) will provide a child life saving water safety skills through eight weeks of swim lessons.

Apply for Financial Assistance
Thanks to generous donors who support our Annual Campaign, we’re able to award assistance and help individuals of every age and ability reach their potential through the Y.
"We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give." Sir Winston Churchill was on to something, but what if you could make your giving live on forever? The Heritage Club makes it possible.
The Heritage Club lets individuals who share the Y’s ideals and traditions ensure this valued heritage continues for future generations. It encourages thoughtful gifts as a primary means of building an endowment capable of providing lasting support for the Y's mission. We recognize members whose leadership, service and devotion to the Y creates this heritage.
Why make an endowment gift to the Heritage Club?
-
It's the greatest statement of support you can make to the Y.
-
Your participation becomes the catalyst for more goodwill than you could ever achieve alone.
-
In a world of change, the Y endures. What began in 1844 in London and 1944 in Southern Nevada has a rich tradition with more relevance than ever before.
-
The Y is community based, professionally managed and meets changing conditions.
-
Each day, the Y promotes the healthy development of families and emphasizes the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
You can help perpetuate the important work of the Y while securing your family’s future through your gift’s financial benefits. It’s an opportunity to do something meaningful for others in your lifetime.
What is planned giving?
Planned giving integrates your charitable gift into your overall financial, tax and estate planning objectives. It maximizes benefits to you as a donor, and to the YMCA of Southern Nevada. You might consider the following options:
-
A gift through your will
Include the Y in your will or living trust. A fixed amount, asset or percentage of your estate can be set aside as bequests and qualify for estate deductions. -
A gift through a charitable trust or annuity
Provide life income for yourself and/or others. With all or a portion of your gift eventually directed to the Y, you could receive a charitable deduction.
How can I learn more?
For more information about planned giving, please contact your tax adviser. To learn more about the Heritage Club or become a member, contact Chuck Searle, development director, at 702-877-7223.
Fun Fact: The Bill & Lillie Heinrich YMCA was rededicated in 2007 following a transformation funded by an $8.6 million capital campaign, the largest in YMCA of Southern Nevada history.

Families and individuals can use assistance for membership, camp, youth programs, sports, swim lessons and dozens of other activities that help them reach their potential. In 2017, the Y gave 65,888 community members direct financial assistance and program subsidies totaling nearly $2 million dollars.
Donor Recognition Banners

This is a sampling of the banners that hang in our facilities. We'll design yours based on your giving level.
If you give $1,000 - $4,999, your banner will be 48" x 92".
If you give $5,000 - $9,999, your banner will be 96" x 92".
If you give $10,000+, your banner will be 144" x 92".
