Camp Hello Bello

Hello Bello was created because parenting is hard. And near impossible to do alone. They have singing, dancing, storytime, and everything else you’d get from counselors by a lake in the summer. Except it’s not summer. And we’re indoors. Okay, so this is a different kind of camp. Because the kids are at home, all day, and Camp Hello Bello is coming in to help fill the hours with some extra creativity. And it’s all free to the community. During the timeframe in which the schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD) are closed, student learning extension opportunities are provided for all students. These student learning extension opportunities provide activities for students to engage in learning at home. Cincinnati Zoo Facebook Live

While the Cincinnati Zoo is closed and kids are home from school, they want to help make your children’s hiatus from school fun and educational. Join them for a Home Safari Facebook Live each weekday at 3pm EDT where they will highlight one of their amazing animals and include an activity you can do from home.

To watch the live videos just go to the Cincinnati Zoo Facebook page and scroll down. It will appear like the most recent post on their feed. You will not be able to see the videos from this event page. Once the live video has ended, the video will remain on their Facebook page so you can watch later if you can’t make it during the live session.

Don’t have access to social media? No worries! All videos will be posted on their website and to their YouTube channel shortly after the Facebook Live ends.

P.E. with Joe

Joe Wicks, famous as The Body Coach, has said he will become ‘the nation’s P.E. teacher’ by giving daily online P.E. classes for kids! Starting Monday, March 23rd, he will be holding new kids’ workout classes on his YouTube channel daily. The workouts are designed to be kid friendly, will last half an hour, and won’t need much space so they can be done indoors if you’re self-isolating.
