Archery instructs campers on bow and arrow techniques and target shooting. Professional instructors lead camp at Pacific Archery Sales, Schiff Drive. Campers earn awards and break balloons.
Baseball/T-ball teaches baseball fundamentals in a fun character-building environment.  Children have a blast learning field positions, catching, throwing and batting.
Basketball  focuses on passing, dribbling and shooting.  Campers learn teamwork and fair play in a positive atmosphere.
Bowling gives campers all the practice they need for the final big Friday tournament.  Space is limited.
Cheer develops skills and movements for cheerleading.  Go YMCA!  Wear sports shoes and shorts.
Cookin' Creations makes junior chefs out of campers. Participants cook tasty treats while learning safety and healthy meal prep techniques. Bon appetit!
Dance teaches ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and combo.  Participants prepare all week for a fun Friday performance!
Flag Football teaches drills and skills while focusing on teamwork and the four core values.  The week ends with a tournament.  Play football just like the Las Vegas Gladiators!
Golf Camp includes fundamentals and safety instruction.  Campers learn to grip, swing and putt at the beautiful Durango Hills Golf Club.  Campers are encouraged to bring their golf clubs.  Space is limited.
Hip Hop is for music and dance lovers.  Campers develop hot moves and perform at an assembly.  Wear sport shoes, comfy pants and be ready to "break it down!"
Indoor Soccer gives campers a break from the hot August heat!  Participants refine their indoor soccer skills while building teamwork and learning the four core values.
C.I.T. is the YMCA's Counselors in Training program.  CIT participants expand their leadership knowledge while working with younger campers.  All Counselors in Training must practice the Y's four core values and demonstrate great interest in working with younger campers.  Prospective Counselors in Training must qualify for the program.
Performing Arts includes instruction in dance, vocal performance and drama.  The week ends with a musical production for friends and family.
Rock Climbing is held at the Heinrich YMCA's very own rock wall!  Campers scale new heights while learning safety skills, basic climbing and teamwork techniques from certified professionals.
Soccer features outdoor games and hands-on instruction.  Bring lots of water and prepare for fun.
Taekwondo teaches self-defense skills, discipline and self-esteem during a great workout.  This discipline naturally incorporates the four core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.
Volleyball/Beachball includes drills, clinics, scrimmages and tournament play with age-appropriate equipment.  Players bump, set and spike their way through the week.
Wrestling teaches fundamentals like takedowns, pinning combinations and sportsmanship matches.  Unlike WWF, this camp enforces Olympic wrestling rules.
Y World of  Sports is for sporting kids. Campers play a variety of sports while focusing on fundamentals, sportsmanship and fair play before getting cool in the pool!  There are no benchwarmers at the Y, where all boys and girls are winners.
