Fitness Training

Equipment Orientation (13 yrs.+) - introduces members to the proper use of cardiovascular equipment and circuit machines by trained YMCA staff. Members only, wear comfortable attire.  Teens between 13 and 17 must complete orientation before using fitness center. Sign up at the front desk.

Cost: FREE!

Fitness Testing (18 yrs.+) - measures cardio-respiratory endurance, body composition, flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance. A certified fitness specialist conducts evaluation and discusses results. Members only please. Come dressed to workout, assessment takes one full hour. 

Cost: $59

Program Design (13 yrs.+) - provides a personal fitness workout with a trained YMCA staff member to meet your fitness goals and expectations. Members only please. 

Cost: $59

Personal Training (13 yrs.+) - provides a certified personal trainer to formulate your exercise goals and schedules, assist with exercise format, and help you keep on track. Members only please.

Cost: $161 for three one-hour sessions
         $221 for five one-hour sessions
         $288 for eight one-hour sessions

Buddy Personal Training - gives you a chance to workout with you pal! A certified personal trainer will design a workout for you and your buddy and assist to keep you both focused on feeling great. Members only please.

Cost: $206 for 3 one-hour sessions
         $340 for 8 one-hour sessions

Fitness Therapy (Heinrich Branch Only) -  helps manage, prevent, and possible reverse health conditions such as hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes, arthritis, cancer, obesity, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, post stroke and lower back pain, to name a few. A fitness therapist, trained in developing exercise programs for diseased individuals, will assess you before designing a program and guiding you through it.
