Annual Support

The mission of the YMCA of Southern Nevada is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.  One of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of the kids in our community.  When kids are left out, it leaves us all a bit poorer.  That's because giving kids a safe and nurturing place to go benefits everyone.  By introducing them to experiences that will help them grow into responsible, successful adults, we make the community a better place to live.  One child at at time.  One family at a time.

This is what the Strong Kids Campaign is all about.  Our annual support campaign provides much needed subsidies to several program areas and financial assistance to those in need.

To provided as many services as possible, we find it necessary to solicit the help of the community.  Community Support is an essential ingredient in providing effective programs.  An investment in the YMCA is an investment into the future.

• Your gift of $50.00 a month allows a child to improve academic performances while participating in YMCA after-school programs.

• Your gift of $125.00 a month allows a child to experience one week of summer, track break or holiday camp.

• Your gift of $250.00 a month allows 5 children to build confidence while learning to swim.

We measure success by the lives we touch, so please help the YMCA of Southern Nevada reach its goal of $400,000 in 2006.
