Southern Nevada
The
YMCA of Southern Nevada is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization
dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong
communities. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors and
has served the community since 1944 locally. The worldwide YMCA
movement was established in London in 1844.
Programs are conducted at the Bill & Lillie Heinrich YMCA branch facility at 4141
Meadows Lane as well as at the Durango Hills Community Center operated by
the YMCA at 3521 N. Durango Drive.
Currently, the YMCA of Southern Nevada serves more than 20,000 people a year through our
youth programs, older adults programs, swim lessons, teen programs and
outreach programs.
