Child Watch

Don’t have a babysitter? No problem! It’s easy to accomplish your wellness goals at the YMCA. Just bring your child to our baby/kids gym while you workout. It’s a value of YMCA membership. Children can play for up to two hours; parents must remain in the building. Read our Kids & Baby Gym Parent Handbook

Baby Gym (3 months+) - NEW HOURS BEGIN JANUARY 2, 2012!
Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – noon
Mondays through Thursdays, 5 – 8 p.m.
Kids Gym (potty trained – 7 years)
Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. – noon and 5-8 p.m.; Fridays, 8:30 a.m. – noon; Saturdays, 9 a.m. - noon; Sundays, 1 - 3:30 p.m.

School-Age Child-Care Programs

When it comes to filling the time gaps before and after school safely, creatively and constructively, no one does it better than the YMCA. Your kids can express their talents in the arts, sports and other interest areas, taking advantage of all the YMCA has to offer. We set aside time for homework, and adults are always available to help. Our trained staff members are skilled at listening to youth and challenging them too. Best of all, everyone has fun at the YMCA!

Leavitt Middle School Before- and After-School On-Site Program
When: Begins August 29, 7-8:45 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.
Cost: Before School, $20/week or $6/day
After School, $40/week or $10/day
Receive $10 off when you pre-pay for before- and after-school for the month.

Staff Development Days and One-Day Camps (5-12 years)
When school is out, the YMCA is in! Your camper will enjoy a day off from school filled with fun activities like sports, games, arts and crafts, character development programs and more.
When: January 16, January 23, February 20, February 21, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: $37/day

Spring Break Camp (5-11 years)
Campers get a break from school and have loads of seasonal spring fun at the Y! 
When: April 2-6
Cost: $136/week or $46/day

Spring Break Field Trip to Laser Quest (6-11 years)
When: Wednesday, April 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: $35 per child

Flashlight Egg Hunt (3-12 years)
When: Friday, April 5, 7:45 to 9 p.m.
Cost: $2 per child

CCSD’s schedule has changed, but the Y’s hasn’t. We’re still here throughout the school year and summer for full-day care weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (age 5 and up). Please contact Emily Walton, youth and family coordinator, at (702) 839-4901 or ewalton@lasvegasymca.org.
