The Y’s state-licensed preschool program, established in 2007, is a favorite among parents and little learners. We invite you to register your 3-to-5-year-old child for a high-quality pre-kindergarten experience at the Y. Please note that your child must be potty trained.

A high-quality pre-kindergarten education like the one you’ll discover at the Y provides a lifetime of benefits. According to the National Institute for Early Education Research, high-quality pre-kindergarten can better prepare children for school, increase their chances of academic success and help them avoid welfare and crime later in life. Studies also suggest that pre-kindergarten can lead to higher wages in adulthood, strengthen family ties and enhance your own parenting skills. As if that’s not enough, Y preschool is fun too!

Payment Options

  • Yearly pre-pay: Pre pay for the 9-month school year in full at the time of registration and receive $50 off. (Only available before September 1.)
  • Quarterly payment: Pay for 3 months of preschool at a time, reserve your spot for the whole school year. This is the best option for anyone who prefers to pay cash. There is a $50 cancellation fee if your child does not attend all 9 months of the school year.
  • Monthly auto draft: Put a $25 deposit down to hold your spot for each month. Preschool auto drafts will be withdrawn from a bank account the last Wednesday of the previous month. Deposits are non-refundable. To pay monthly, participants must be enrolled on auto draft. No monthly payments to the front desk will be allowed after the initial registration.
     

Please read, print, complete and submit (as appropriate) these important procedures and documents.
Here are the steps to registration.

1. Read parent handbook. (Click here for handbook.)
2. Complete registration packet. Print legibly and sign all signature lines. (Click here for packet)
3. Provide a copy of birth certificate for children age 5 or younger.
4. Provide a copy your child’s current immunization record.
5. Provide health statement signed by physician within first 30 days. (See registration packet.)
6. Bring completed packet and copies to the front desk. If registering online, bring all information to the front desk after registering.Full payment is required at time of registration.
Please note: Health documents will not be accepted via fax.

Helpful Reminders

  • A bag or backpack is the perfect way to keep your child's goodies together.
  • Proper classroom attire requires closed toe shoes with heel coverage at the Y!
  • No sandals or flip flops.
  • Clothes may get messy! Make sure they're weather appropriate.
  • Every student needs lots of water!
  • A healthy lifestyle is a Y initiative. Pack a HEALTHY energizing snack such as granola, veggie sticks or fruit slices!
     

At the Y, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay. Ask about financial assistance.
