FREE fitness classes are another value of Y membership. There are various levels of classes to suit your needs and fitness goals. Fitness classes are complimentary to members. 

See the schedule for session dates and times unless details appear below. Registration is not necessary for most fitness classes. Y Group Exercise Classes 
(8 years+ with parent participation welcome/13 years+ when fitness equipment is used)

Balletone
This class offers a challenging mix of strength and flexibility movements designed after classical ballet principles. Achieve elegant results and a dancer's body while improving posture, balance and core strength. "Something for EveryBODY."

Boogie Line Dance
If you love to dance and burn calories, this fun-filled line dance aerobic workout is for you. This exciting class will teach you new moves that will get your heart rate up and help you drop a pants size! Zumba included.

Hot Hula Fitness
This new, fun and exciting dance workout combines easy-to-perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats, fused with funky reggae music.

Indoor Cycling
Whether you’re a beginner, recreational cyclist or serious racer, this class on cutting-edge indoor stationary bikes provides an excellent workout with no joint impact. Enjoy the ride choreographed to motivating and fun music. You are in control of your own workout!

Latin Hip Hop
Looking for a mid-afternoon dance class that will be exciting and fun? Please join us in this energetic, high-energy new class! Get into the rhythm of "the beginning of your week" a little early.

Mid-Morning Mayhem!
Okay, it's Monday...let's get into high-level muscle confusion using various workout applications. Coming in June!

Pilates
Optimize your strength, endurance, flexibility and posture through core conditioning in this mat-based class. You will use a variety of props such as small and large balls, and therabands.

Pilates with Props
Workout with a variety of props, balls and therabands in this mat-based Pilates class.

Strike!
Add variety to your mid-afternoon workout. This class is a fun cardiovascular conditioning class that uses a combination of punching, kicks and other boxing drills plus cardio bursts to ensure a total body workout.

Smash the Bag (13 years and up)
This energetic, moderate intensity workout helps improve overall health and fitness using a variety of modern martial arts training methods (impact training on bags, striking, kicking drills, basic and complex self-defense combinations, strength and ab conditioning, dynamic stretching, meditation, etc.). Gloves recommended. All fitness levels welcome.

Step Up (13 years and up)
This is a challenging, advanced level step class that offers a high impact cardio workout on a platform step, which may include multiple step platforms at times for the elite stepper. Ages 13 and up. 

Step It Out
Experience a modern cardio dance/step class offering a high/low impact cardio workout with high/low intensity on a platform step. Enjoy fun, easy-to-follow combos choreographed to upbeat music!

Tai Chi
Improve your relaxation, circulation, balance and coordination and discover your inner peace while practicing this ancient martial art. Move many parts of the body together in a choreographed pattern with little joint impact. Beginners can arrive 15 minutes early for an informal introduction to Tai Chi.

Ultimate Body Burn (13 years and up)
Tone and build muscle in this high-level, full-body class that uses free weights, body bars, mats and steps. Cardio portion offered on Monday evenings.

Yoga
Be comfortable or comfortably challenged in a perfect workout for every fitness level. Practice traditional poses, sun salutations, stretches and relaxation techniques to improve muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. Get a full spirit, mind and body experience with no impact to the joints.

Yogalates
Experience the workout everyone is raving about...a yoga fusion class that blends yoga with elements of pilates!

Sunset Power Yoga
Get your heart pumping with an option of fast yoga movements.

Vinyasa Yoga
Experience a high sweat, level 2-3 power flow yoga class. New participants are welcome.

Zumba
Join the party! Learn Latin-style dance routines in the latest, hottest fitness workout. Get your heart pumping and burn tons of calories with our excellent ZUMBA-certified instructors.

Zumba Gold
This Silver & Fit dance powered by Zumba Gold is a fun-filled, safe and easy-to-follow Latin dance program created for active older adults and appropriate for all fitness levels. We simplify the merengue, salsa, cha-cha, belly dance, cumbia, flamenco, tango and rock & roll so you get a total body workout that is inspiring and fun!

Remember, you'll always feel comfortable at the Y! Check out our starter classes for adults - Beginner Zumba and Moderate Step are perfect if you're just getting started. No expertise required!

Humana Silver & Fit and Senior Dimensions Members

The following programs are perfect for active older adults! (Must have Humana and Senior Dimensions insurance.)

Silver & Fit Level 2
Attain better health with the help of this low-impact fitness and healthy aging program. If you’re a moderately active older adult, you’ll love the focus on flexibility, stability, balance, cardio endurance, coordination, agility and muscle strength. Includes Zumba Gold and line dancing for added fun!
When: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9-9:45 a.m.

Social Silver & Fit Events - just for you!
Healthy "Pigout" Potlucks
They're held on specific Wednesdays. Watch for flyers and information.

Y-Kids Fitness Classes 

Y-Kids is recommended for youth ages 6 and older. Must be 13 years or older to use equipment in a class. These classes are developed to enhance muscular strength and motor skill performance, cardio coordination to carry over to adulthood. We enforce positive, good health habits to contribute to your child's healthy lifestyle.

Parent supervision required for kids 8 and under. Seating available.

Y-Kids Bootcamp (8-12 years, co-ed class)
Includes elementary basic drills to get your kids in tip-top cardio/muscle development shape. This class will enhance muscular strength and motor skill performance.

Y-Kids Hip Hop
Kids love this easy-to-follow Saturday morning hip hop class designed just for them. 

Y-Kids Zumbatomic 
This custom-designed kids program blends dance-fitness routines with fun games and high-energy music. What a great way to release all the day's energy!
