FREE fitness classes are another value of YMCA membership. There are various levels of classes to suit your needs and fitness goals. Fitness classes are complimentary to members unless otherwise noted.

Adult Fitness (Kids 8 years+ with parent participation welcome)
Basic Step
Get a great workout using an adjustable bench. The class focuses on lower body conditioning; upper body movements are added for an even better workout.
Boogie Line Dance
Have a blast in a fun, stress busting, line dance type workout! Join in this exciting class and learn moves to get your heart rate up and help you drop a pants size. It's an alternative class for those who love to dance...including electric slide, Zumba, modern pop, classic boogie and rock 'n' roll. Fat burning workout!
Bootcamp
Ready to challenge yourself? Get in tip top shape as your instructor leads you through a variety of drills to upbeat music.
Core Blast
This class includes 30 minutes of abdominal and lower back/gluteus exercises. We encourage all fitness levels to attend, we'll modify the class as needed!
Cycle & Pump
This 60-minute class emphasizes cardio health with interval training on stationary bikes. The second half of class focuses on strength training to hit all major muscle groups.
Hot Hula Fitness
This new, fun and exciting dance workout combines easy-to-perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats, fused with funky reggae music.
Indoor Cycle Class
Whether you're a beginner, recreational cyclist or serious racer, this class on cutting-edge indoor stationary bikes provides an excellent workout with no joint impact. It's set to motivating, fun music that puts you in control of your own workout.
Low Impact
This great cardio class involves graceful exercise routines that require you to focus on the moment at hand.
Self Defense
Want to learn basic self-defense techniques and the proper setting to use the skills? Class is mostly instructional, but also a good workout.
Tai Chi
Improve your relaxation, circulation, balance and coordination and discover your inner peace while practicing this ancient martial art. Move many parts of the body together in a choreographed pattern with little joint impact. Beginners can arrive 15 minutes early for an informal introduction to Tai Chi. Practice swords are available for purchase.
Tighten ′n′ Tone
Isolate targeted areas to improve muscle strength and tone. Includes stretching.
Yoga
Be comfortable or comfortably challenged in a perfect workout for every fitness level. Practice traditional poses, sun salutations, stretches and relaxation techniques to improve muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. Get a full spirit, mind and body experience with no impact to the joints.
Zumba - "Ditch the workout, join the party!"
Learn Latin-style dance routines with exciting Zumba-certified instructors. Get your heart pumping and burn calories while you're having fun! It's great for the whole family.
Family & Youth Fitness
Beginner/Family Tai Chi
Bring your kids (ages 6+) and gain improved relaxation, circulation, balance and coordination as a family.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-5 p.m.
Family Dance Party!
Get the whole family involved with this low-to-moderate impact beginner class. It's a great way for everyone in the family to spend time together while having fun and exercising too.
Hip Hop for Kids (ages 5+)
Here's a way to get the kids up and moving on the dance floor to today's music. Guaranteed fun!
Y-Kids (8-13 years)
This is "fun fitness" at its best! Kids participate in different activities each day of the week. Kids have a blast, stay active and learn new skills via fitness training, group games, rock wall, mixed martial arts and the pool. It's included with your membership, no registration required. Sure to be a favorite! See the schedule for details. (To climb the rock wall, your child must be able to fit in the harness, tennis shoes required. For pool day, child should come in suit. Parents not required to attend.)
Zumbatomic
This custom-designed kids program blends dance fitness routines with fun games and high-energy music. What a great way to release all the day's energy!
